Does WPClientHub store my clients' WordPress passwords?
No, never. See Security & data.
Where do backups actually live?
On the site's own server by default, in a web-protected directory. WPClientHub stores only manifests and checksums — never the archive. See SiteVault backups.
What's the difference between Billing Suite and my WPClientHub plan?
Billing Suite is how you bill your clients — either through your own Stripe account (you paste a restricted API key) or with direct invoices paid by bank transfer, payment link or whatever instructions you write. Your WPClientHub plan is what you pay WPClientHub for the product itself, via Paddle. See Billing Suite and Your WPClientHub plan & billing.
Does WPClientHub take a cut of what I bill my clients?
No — there is no platform fee on any plan, Free included, whether a client pays through your Stripe account or a direct invoice. Stripe's own card-processing fees still apply to Stripe payments, as they would anywhere.
Do I need a Stripe account to invoice clients?
No. Without Stripe, invoices are numbered PDFs (INV-2026-0001) emailed to the client with your payment instructions and an optional payment link; you mark them paid when the money arrives, and subscriptions issue a new invoice automatically every period. Clients see and pay them from the client portal. See Billing Suite.
What does a plan actually limit?
Only two things: how many sites you can connect (Free 3, Studio 10, Agency 40, Scale 150) and your monthly AI credit allowance (20 / 50 / 250 / 1,000). Team members, modules, reports, uptime checks and client billing are the same on every plan. See Your WPClientHub plan & billing.
What counts as an AI credit?
A ticket diagnosis, a diagnosis re-run, and Security's Ask AI each cost 1 credit. See AI credits.
Can I buy more AI credits without upgrading?
Yes — top-up packs (100 credits for $9, 500 for $39) are available on every plan from Settings → AI usage and are credited as soon as the payment completes. Plan credits are spent first and reset each month without rolling over; purchased top-up credits are spent after them and never expire. See AI credits.
Will a bad update be rolled back automatically?
Only if you turn it on. Each AutoPilot policy in auto mode has an automatic rollback switch: when it is on and the before/after screenshot diff crosses the policy's threshold, the site is restored to the restore point taken right before the batch, and the batch stays in "needs review" with the before/after pair attached so you can judge the change. With the switch off (the default) the site is left as updated and the batch waits for your review. See Scheduled updates → Automatic rollback and Running updates.
Can a Viewer break anything?
No — a Viewer's write actions are blocked server-side even in the rare case a control isn't already disabled in the UI. See Team & roles matrix.
Is the Help Desk the same product as Sites?
Same account, same database, single sign-on — but its own host, its own navigation, and its own product identity. See Help Desk dashboard & views.
What's the difference between "Ignore" and "Resolve" on a security finding?
Ignore hides a finding you've consciously accepted the risk of; it can be unignored later. Resolved means the underlying software was actually updated (or you marked it fixed by hand) — see Security findings.
Can I move a site between clients?
Yes, from the site's own header — no need to unpair or re-pair anything.
