What it does
Pulse tracks a site's performance over time on both mobile and desktop, from the same Lighthouse engine behind Google's own PageSpeed Insights. Opening a site's Performance tab shows its trend, "real visitors vs. this test" field data, page weight (requests and total downloaded), and a "what to fix first" list drawn from the run's own diagnostics.
How to
- Performance is enabled per site — open the site's own Performance tab and turn it on. The first mobile and desktop runs queue immediately.
- Click Run now at any time for a fresh measurement outside the schedule.
- While a run is in progress, the tab shows "First run queued — scores appear in a couple of minutes" (or "Run queued…" for a later run) and polls automatically — no need to refresh by hand.

Troubleshooting
A run has been "in-flight" a long time
Runs typically land within a couple of minutes; if it's been much longer, click Run now again once the current run clears, or check the site's own reachability first.
The portfolio Performance page says nothing is coming in
Performance has to be enabled per site — it isn't on by default for a newly connected site.
