What it does
Every teammate you invite gets their own login, scoped to one of four roles for this organization: owner, admin, tech or viewer. The same person can hold a different role in a different organization if they belong to more than one.
How to
- Go to Team and click Invite a team member.
- Enter their email and pick a role.
- Click Create invitation — an email goes out immediately, and the invitation also appears under Pending invitations with a Copy invitation link button if you'd rather send it yourself (Slack, a text message).
- The invitee opens the link, sets a password, and lands in the organization with the role you picked.
For the full breakdown of what each role can and can't do, see Team & roles matrix.
Limits & defaults
| Setting | Default |
|---|---|
| Invitation link validity | 7 days |
| Unaccepted invite reminder | One reminder email to the inviter 48 hours after sending, if still unaccepted |
| Team seats | Unlimited on every plan — plans limit sites and AI credits, never teammates |
Troubleshooting
The invitee never got the email
Use Copy invitation link from Pending invitations and send it directly — the link works the same either way, and doesn't expire any sooner for having been copied.
I invited the wrong role
Revoke the pending invitation and send a new one; once accepted, a role change is done from Team by an owner or admin, not by re-inviting.
An invite expired before it was accepted
Revoke it (if still listed) and send a new one — expired invitations aren't reactivated.
