What it does
A setup checklist appears on the Help Desk Dashboard until every step is done or an owner dismisses it — ten minutes, then clients can open requests you will actually see.
How to
- Brand your help desk — set your name, logo and colour so every page and email a client sees is yours, not WPClientHub's. Counted done once a brand name (different from the sign-up default) or a logo is set.
- Say who works the desk — set a default assignee so new requests land with someone, or have more than one teammate marked as working the desk. New requests with no assignee auto-assign to the default.
- Invite a client contact — switch a client on and email their first contact an invitation. Counted done once any client contact exists.
- Share your address — put the help desk link where clients will actually find it (your website, an email signature, an existing support page).
Click Continue setup to jump to the next unfinished step, or Dismiss (owner/admin only) to hide the checklist regardless of progress.

Troubleshooting
The checklist reappeared after I dismissed it
Dismissal is per-organization and should stick — if it reappears, it likely means it was dismissed on a different organization than the one you're currently viewing.
